What happened to all the fighters?

hadn't really noticed this until i played irelia and saw how underwhelming she was. i looked up her winrate and saw it's not so great sitting at 50% never getting above 52% at any point in the game. then i looked at fiora and saw her stats were pretty bad too. idk why i didn't notice sooner since i did notice how these champs were unable to carry games against me quite a few times despite getting quite fed. pretty much every melee range fighter other than jg and jg have very poor winrates. AKA pretty much every single melee range top laner in the game is in a bad spot. i don't think i've ever seen such a disparity where one group has been near unanimously bad before. not saying that they all need buffs(though some definitely do), but i can't be the only one to notice this since it's a pretty crazy thing going on in league right now.

edit: oh and i forgot to mention BAE . She has never really had good winrates overall and she is also somewhat resistant to the bullshit that is destroying other melee caries by having the ability to sneak up on carries without them knowing. however, she still falls into this group since like other melee carries(from experience playing against because eve is the only melee carry i play) she has a hard time scaling and carrying games. i've had so many games lately where i was absurdly fed only start feeling totally worthless. this didn't use to be the case at all, but now it all seems to come down to bot lane(and yasuo) and lesser extent midland determining every game.
