Can someone explain to me the qualifications for an S rank on support

so I just played a game of raka support [3/1/27(43 wards placed)] on lol sumo I got a MASTER tier performance (keep in mind my 30.0 kda, 43 wards placed , and 66% K/P) I only got an A-, I'm not complaining, just wondering why it is I do or don't get S ranks on the good 'ol support role.

Thanks in advance Summoners =]

[slayer-jinx-catface] Psst. Almost forgot the match was 43 min long, that probably affects it

Just go for a 6+ KDA and try to farm 30-40 minions, usually in low elo it's easy and you don't even steal gold from your teammates because like 1/3 of the gold on the map goes ignored, just remember to hold hands with your adc or some other teammate as supports that go alone are cancer for the eyes. -edit- 30 kda http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/944/564/6dc.jpg

I've found that sniping some CS if you're not playing a Targon's Brace support (late game when it doesn't matter as much, don't steal CS in lane) can inflate your grade a bit. I don't really play much Soraka, and it seems to work differently for every support champ, but maybe sweeping more wards would help too? I don't know how many you swept, but I think killing wards goes into your grade as well, at least as support.

I know I swep atleast 5 (cause I counted) but I don't know where I can check that stat (Side note I had 73 minions that game)

You can find that stat beneath "Control wards purchased" in the post game stats thing.

The only time I get S rank on Raka support is when I get 30+ assists. Not anything lower sadly.

6/2/9 s+ O.O

if it was a 20 minute game. I can believe that. Getting kills is more reliable for s ranks though. On support end, I rather the adc get the kill gold if he's any decent to carry.

I feel ya. I play Thresh a lot and a few months ago I went like 3-0-25 and got an A-. I was pretty surprised as well.

There's no actual qualifications, you have to play well compared to other players.

It differs on every champion, there's no cookie cutter way to get an S unless you're an absolute god.

My recommendation is play with a premade group and play well together. The odds of one of you getting an S may increase, especially if you focus on winning fast and well instead of trying to "cheat" your way into an S (aka stealing farm or whatever to increase your parameters).

Go support, ask for top or mid and get an S for godly support stats.

The problem with that is I can't play top, or mid, since soraka relies on a teammate and also I'm shit at those lanes too so :V

No one's 100% sure on what the qualifications for any of the ratings are.

Things that seem to be involved: KDA (assists included), creep score, ward placement.

Support scores are rated differently with extra weight on assists and wards and less on creep score.

There may be other factors involved. I've noticed the shorter a game is the harder it is to get an S.
