New Ryze ult whiplash
Was wondering if it's possible to disable or change the ult camera movement for the new Ryze.
When ulting you almost always are looking at your teleportation target but once the ult finishes channeling the camera whips you back to Ryze's channeling spot only to whip right back to the teleportation target. This rapid camera movement is extremely disorientating and causes you a disadvantage, especially in a teamfight when you spend the first second or two trying to figure out where you've landed and if the enemy champions have moved at all from their previous positions. Those few seconds could be the determining factor between a win and a loss.
Honestly, his ult should be like Twisted Fates ult, where when you choose a target to port to, the camera stays on the target and does not whip back and forth.
Seriously hope someone from riot takes a look at this. I honestly can't play Ryze because of this.
**EDIT:
-For people saying, simply refocus your camera. Yes, that is a temporary solution to this problem, however doing additional camera work should never be a requisite for using a champions ult, that makes it unbalanced and unfair. No other ability in the game requires one to refocus their camera.
-Going over other champs with porting abilities, I think I have a solution in the form of another champs ult camera movement. Tahm Kench actually has a very similar ult to the new Ryze. He channels, can take a person with him and then he teleports to his target. Now after analyzing his ult a bit, I know why it works well and why no one has had an issue with it. The camera does the same thing for his ult, you choose your target, after the channel is done, or a champ hops in, or you press r again, the camera goes back to Tahm Kench briefly while the animation is carried out and then the camera move to Kench's port target. However, when the camera moves to his target, Kench does not appear for at least a second or two. This gives Kench and his potential companion a moment to gather their surroundings before they pop out of the ground. If Riot implements this same camera work for Ryze's ult, it would be perfectly fine.
