Why should I lose LP just becasue of a DC?

During my adventures in ranked, I encountered a few disconnects on both sides of my team and the opposing team. Which isn't fair to the people who are on the disconnects team. In my (and probably others opinions) there should be a way to regain or not get demoted because of someone who couldn't play the game. If you could implement a system that can almost reset a teams LP or something like it so that someone cannot get screwed over by someone who is "unavailable" to participate in the game they just started. It just seems that the system isn't balanced in the sense that people lose games due to 1 person not even playing which means that unless you can win a 4v5, it's an automatic loss. So if it can be done, I suggest an implementation of a new system that will benefit teams that have a disconnect when plaything ranked.
