Exp reduction and new players
Hello fellow summoners. In patch 6.5 the amount of Experience Points (Exp) required to max you're summoner level got reduced by half (I think) and with that came a problem with new players. Players who got to summoner level 30 before patch 6.5 really earned it, their level showed how much they know and understand the game. Before patch 6.5 we had to play more games that we learned from and if we made a lot of mistakes we got less Exp as a punishment. After patch 6.5 the summoner level lost its value in my opinion. I invited a friend of mine to play LoL and he got to level 30 in a week and a half almost without my help at all, now he's maining ADC and even though he's bad at it, he acted like a stereotypical ADC until the day I was without my pills and shaved what I think about him in his face. I main Support for a year now and he blames me for his overly aggressive play style and mistakes. But what I've noticed is before he got to summoner level 30 he never did it. But enough about me. This change is also very problematic in normals. Myself and probably other players don't do ranked which of course will leave us unranked, the problem with that is the matchups. It very possible that an unranked level 30 summoner before patch 6.5 and an unranked level 30 summoner after patch 6.5 will be in a normal together or in different teams which may lead to an unbalanced match in terms of player knowledge and skills. In this time we can't deal with this because Riot took the option to report players for being unskilled (even though it's not considered a report). To sum it up, I believe that Riot should increase back the amount of Exp needed to level up player's summoner level because it's the best time to learn and get used to playing "League of Legends" or other top-down prospective MOBAs.
If you got here thanks for reading this. I really needed to get it out of my system. I would like to hear your opinions and please forgive me for any misspelling that may be here. Fyi I know that patch 6.5 was forever ago but I only got to it now.
