As a older LoL player how bad does it get on summer nights?

By this i mean the angry spastic teenagers that start staying up. Ive been playing weeknights for months now and its always been a calm pleasurable expierience but today i got on and in 3 of the matches i played some little shit went afk after he died 3 times. My favorite line from tonight was " if our ekko kill steals me once i will feed" -our adc. Hopefully this was just a coincidence and i simply got matched up with nasty players. To the veteran players: does it get bad in terms of trolling and such during the summertime?

I forgot to mention that in- game arguing when we were WINNING was happening because one player wasnt getting fed and the rest of the team was. It was a jungle riven that was 1/2/5. He was so incredibly mad he wasnt last hitting the enemies and he started to take out his frustration on the poor mid viegar.

Veigar : " sorry dude i didnt mean to take that kill. I trapped him and used a auto attack to weaken him."

Riven : " go jump of a bridge only reason your fed is because i ganked for you"

I tell that champ to seriously ethier clean up his attitude or go afk and leave us be. He doesn't go afk. He fucking roams the map and feeds for 30 whole mins. All in the while mocking my team and spam pinging all over the map. Ive been playing for months now and I've NEVER had such a bad night like yesterdays. It sucked man it truly did.

You have games where this DOESN'T happen? :O (Seriously though, try playing early in the morning. The kids that stay up late and do this like to sleep in)

I would very much enjoy being able to have a 25 and up age limitation on when I queue. It's just absurdly frustrating playing with children who failed kindergarten and gym class and don't understand what sharing and basic sportsmanlike behavior really should be.

Personally, as I get older I want to play less and less. Not because I'm bad, or that I can't do it, or don't have the time or enjoy the game less. Solely, because I have to watch kids rage at me and team mates because in their small, rage filled minds they think they were right. It's the Successful vs. Unsuccessful post that was in tips and tricks. It's very very common that kids fall into the unsuccessful thought patterns and I don't enjoy playing with people who have no intention of playing as a team, listening to good advice or raging when I take 2 cs as support in 4 waves and they're sitting as an adc with 1 cs and screaming at me for taking ALL the cs. It's just not enjoyable.

i don't play ranked in the summer. Unless it is team 5s for the same reason i normally only do solo que ranked after 9-10pm. If you want to play competitively then you want mature team members and if half your team isnt even old enough to drive the odds of that are lower.

LOL I only play ranked early morning for this reason now.

I played a game where I went 14-5-6 as Master Yi and still lost because our support intent feeds, due to our mid calling him bad once. This is in fking plat too.

Platinum is just a very thin layer of platinum coated onto silver. Gold is just very polished bronze.

It's pretty much always bad. The trick is either to not play much in the summer... at least not ranked. Or to do what I do and hit /muteall the moment the match starts. Sure someone might still decide to pitch a fit and feed, but at least most of the time you'll be spared the pissing and moaning.

The community of this game is garbage, regardless of your elo. No, it's not the politically correct starry eyed response Riot would like its players to give, but it also happens to be the truth. The game is bad during the summer, but it's bad even at other times, just mute everyone preemptively if you're concerned about toxicity, because you'll pragmatically spare yourself from a vast world of hurt.

It's been pretty bad for me personally, and draft has been atrocious. In the last week I've had:

-A Veigar/Vlad botlane that gave up 11 unanswered deaths. -An Ekko that disconnected to "Make his dinner" -3 separate "Platinum" players that didn't leash for me, even after multiple pings.

Summer's here people.

Honestly, I've found that the only times that are really different than usual (in that they have a much greater/lower percentage of jerks) are really early in the morning.

The mornings are nice. You get a lot of the Australian players who are much more chill and are usually good players.

I was banned because i got a lil pissed that over the last 3 days i dropped from high S2 to S3 due to multiple trolls. i cannot play in the early mornings, as I have real work to do. i play the game for fun, but it isn't fun when you log on, and some duo que threatens to afk/feed if they dont get their role...then you give them their role and they feed anyway when they left you with an an undesirable role you didn't want to play in the first place. This game is full of self entitled twats if you ask me.

Well considering I played 10 games last night and 3/10 games had someone afk on my side (the best one was the Ori who afk'd 3 mins in because Lee DIDN'T push the creeps off her tower when she went b), and the amount of just sheer stupidity that goes on in chat every single game. It's bad. Don't play. Find a different game, you'll be a lot happier.

Oh, and these are plat level games I'm talking about. Can't imagine the hell of lower elos.

I propose a vote system in champ select. Alot of the times these trolls will insta lock there champ and argue pre-game. 4 player votes and goodnight your out. Sure it wont fix all the problems but it would make these guys think twice before starting a shitstorm im chat.
