Is first clear weaker for most champions on PBE than it is on LIVE?

Saw nightblue struggling on Hecarim even after he decided to do raptors after golems and then move on to red with a smite, all the while getting a very good leash. Exact same thing happened to him on Hecarim.

Also saw Oddone almost die to raptors on Rek'Sai (started golems) and Trick2g die to blue buff in one of his videos.

Can we get an explanation of why this is being done to junglers? If you really wanna weaken early pressure from the role, will it get some sort of compensation in lategame? Kinda weird cause 2 scaling jungle items- Devourer and Cinderhulk got nerfed and Runeglaive's very poor on PBE.

To be fair, Trick was running scaling armor, not flat. Can't speak to the others but at least Udyr should be fine in S6.

And he does really well with those scaling runes on live, while there he managed to die despite getting a decent leash.

It depends on what champion you are.

If you want to build the new Machete as your jungle item or your name is Fiddlesticks, you probably clear at least as well, if not better, in the new jungle as you do on live.

If you want to build the new item Hunter's Talisman and your name is not Fiddlesticks, you probably clear worse on the PBE than you do on live because Talisman apparently is really bad.

I suggest that you go watch Stonewall's S6 Jungle Clear videos where he does a forced Level 4 clear (Full jungle) With close to around 40 champions. He only died once with Evelynn (using Talisman to show that it's a really bad item) out of all his clears, and most of the clears were at around 40% HP or higher.

Current junglers that will do insanely well: Olaf, Trundle, Tryndamere and Udyr. All 4 of them have high sustain and speed in the new jungle. All 4 of them finished with at least 80% HP (Tryn and Trundle having full HP at the end) and hit level 4 by around 3:30 without a leash.

All of my clears on PBE are worse than on live so far. This might be because I haven't figured out the best runes/masteries for the new season and Riot has disabled the ability to play solo custom games to practice jungle clears.

Additionally, with them new jungle item build path you get your upgraded smite much later which really hurts the early game of some junglers who rely on blue smite for ganks.

I hope they at least buff Hunter's Talisman before things go live.
