Why are jungle champions and features getting blatantly power creeped down?

Took 3 patches to nerf already powerful Rumble who got buffed through AP itemization, so we know Riot can be careful when it comes to nerfs. Irelia has been super strong for years and yet received only 1 nerf which took away 40 damage from one of her non-spammable abilities.

Why are good junglers getting slaughtered patch after patch? Here's a list of nerfs during season 5- Rek'Sai (6 nerfs) Gragas (4) Nidalee (4) Fiddlesticks (3) Tank Ekko (3) Sejuani (3) Sion (3) Rammus (1/2) Warwick (1, but massive which touched 2 abilities) Nunu (1) Jarvan (1) Vi (1).

Even Elise and Evelynn, who were buffed at first because they were completely unviable, now are getting another set of nerfs. Elise is a shadow of her former self, when she was viable in previous seasons, yet stays as one of, if not the best junglers, simply because other champions are getting hit super hard too.

Is it happening to give other jungle champions a chance? I'm sorry to break it to you, Riot, but some champions' kits are suited to jungle more than others' and they will likely continue seeing play over inferior ones, only we will be playing weaker and weaker versions of them and will be weaker compared to other lanes. It's like balancing MID around Janna or Nami, would it be fair to nerf all mids cause these 2 aren't very viable midlaners?

Smites were powercreeped down TWICE- Red smite got 2 nerfs, Blue smite got 2, purple got 1. Poacher? Riot representatives said they don't want that smite to be viable (completely agree with them on this point).

Because they terrorize all lanes?

Well, they also help prevent lane bullies from making game unfun and help open up the map. So you generally don't like the concept of jungler, as I understand , lol. Thought of trying other MOBAs where there's no dedicated jungler, like DOTA2 ? Just curious :)

There are enough junglers in DOTA ... Bloodseeker (Warwick is based on him), Lifestealer, Ursa (Volibear), Chen, Nature's rat, Enigma (Malzahar), Lycan, Axe (Darius from LOL), Lone druid... You can also jungle with many other heroes - even with ranged "marksman" like Windrunner (but is kind of tricky )...

I've used poacher before. It's really useful, if you can out-pace your counterpart.

Poacher's on Aatrox works really well. He's really good at stealing Jg camps. If you know Lee Sin started Red, You start red and take his blue immediately after. Get poachers. If you're not feeling secure yet wait for poachers. Then wait till you do blue then enemy red side camps starting with golemns. I say this because you want to finish on the side with the least people, and be to smite/kill head bird, run really fast away and Q to safety.

Poacher's Aatrox is really annoying, and I've gotten people to rage quit before plenty of times. Being CJ without any chance of retaliation is honestly the most frustrating thing because laners never care.

Junglers aren't really suppose to be able to 1v1 people, according to Riot. Yet, Yi, untouched, is one of the best 1v1 in the game. His fallacy is not having any CC.

Source on that "junglers aren't really supposed to be able to 1v1 people" ? Thats probably one of the worst things you can say as game designer , basically if jungler takes kills he should get killed 1v1 by others , right? You see how that might be slightly unfair?

I really would need to dig for that. If you could find the post talking about how Riot is moving away from "comfortably stacking health," in there it specifically states that certain champions were able to deal a lot of damage while being really tanky. A contradiction to Juggernauts, and the defense they have for them, I know. I wouldn't be able to find it in these forums.

Edit: This meant that certain champions were lane bullies. Junglers are looked at as a non-lane class and therefore for junglers to be lane bullies meant that they were immediately nerfed for having that ability. Riot says that Junglers don't need to exist, and that a majority of players just choose to do it that way. Yet some champions are enforced into a Meta that includes Top-Jg-Mid-ADC-Sup/Tank. Again, full of contradictions.

In poacher's defense I would argue, the problem with effectively using it (in the opponent's jungle) is that even with the reduction of the smite timer you just can't outpace youself dealing damage alone after using it and then moving to the next camp because the smite won't come up soon enough to finish the 2nd (next camp) after zooming to it from its movement speed bonus.

If they really wanted to make it viable, they need to allow poacher's keep its halved charge timing upon smiting an opponent jungle creep but allow it be used immediately again BUT put in a marker on that camp to disallow a 2nd smiting from the same player until that camp is completely cleared.

This way after clearing that camp and the player gets the movement speed boost, they can move to the next camp and have the next smite ready for use on it.
