Are assassins ever going to be viable?

For a while now I always feel that most assassin isn't viable in the current meta or previous meta due to the amount of cc and tanks. We keep getting new champions that absolutely prevent assassins to do their job such as Kindred ult, or Tahm Kench devour. I main Kha'zik and I noticed as you progress in higher elo (I'm currently Plat 4. Went from silver 5 to plat 4 in season 5) it gets much harder to play assassin because in higher elo people know how to counter them with such ease. What are your thoughts on assassin as of right now?

assassins are weaker than usual, wait till the next patch. Riot should address.

Where have you been in season 4? And kha himself is very weak now, he was my favorite jungler until they changed his Q to do meaningfull damage only if the target is isolated

If that were true, then why do some of them win more often in higher elo? Assassins have always been better when you're a better player, assassins in low elo when the person is not a smurf usually becomes a liability. It's why they end up with high average kills but still lose more than half the time. They are also not easy to use as effectively as most mages either.

Rengar is at like 45 in Bronze increasing to almost 50 in Plat and Diamond. The others, while not as drastic for all, have slight increases. It has always been like this. Assassins only stomp low elo when played by smurfs, because what better champions to play while smurfing other than snowbally assassins that insta kill people? Otherwise, when played by another low elo vs another low elo they are nothing but a liability, as I said in my initial response.

Assassin are only liable in high elo under the right condition. However, most of the time that never the case. I want assassin to be viable in more matches rather than certain small portion of matches.
