Is a really bad idea for a support?

I know that flashy LC$BIGPLAY$ are fun but it creates an overly aggressive support that doesnt actually support. Instead they focus on diving the enemy lane 1v2 behind the minion wave at lvl 2, die, then blame the adc "too passive just farm noob adc." Im at the point where I want to ban rakan just so I dont have to deal with supports who want to be carries.

Im not arguing Rakan isnt designed well; i think he is. Im arguing the mindset he creates is a bad one in most solo q hands. Rakan creates the same cancerous attitude that Lee Sin and Yasuo create.

I dont believe it creats a bad attitude, thats just the problem with toxic and bad players. Ive spammed rakan since release and some lanes i go ham aggro cuz it matches my adc's playstyle, while other times i max E and play super safe just giving shields and only using my full combo to peel. He can be played either way, the thing is their are bad players who dive in with rakan with no atualy way of escaping and die and then blame their adc/team mates. Thats because one they're not good with the champ yet and 2 theyre the type of players who just blame everyone but themselves (lots of those in league)

What about Alistar? Nautilus? Leona? At least Rakan has a way out.

Rakan is a fine idea for a support. He goes in, CCs, and gets out with shields and heals.

I've played with, against and as Rakan and I haven't really seen this at all... but then I've never really met an adc who prefers passive supporting anyways. But the point I'm trying to get at is that I have yet to see a Rakan feed. You probably shouldn't be diving at lv 2 in general anyways so maybe it's a question of experience and game sense rather than the support itself... meaning that that could happen no matter what support is present.

What I have noticed though is that more people are playing support so they can try Rakan out and most times those people actually play other roles so maybe they're not fully aware of the dynamics of bot lane
