Advice on low-range ADCs

I am terrible at lower range adcs

Anyone have advice on how to play them as opposed to other adcs? Any support suggestions? Key matchup tips (bad vs good)? Any advice on other low range adcs would be great too

Also low range ADC's usually tend to use their abilities to farm since basic attacking puts them in risk. Just try farming safe under tower, and engage when there's a chance to kill someone regardless of your attack range.

Vayne has 550 which is average, Kai'Sa has 525 which is just below average but not as low as some of the others.

Imagine everyone has colored circles around them. Green circle means you are close enough to auto. Yellow means they can hurt you. Red means they can kill you. Take a look at those circles in your mind and take note of where they are. If you see Morgana use her Q and miss, she goes from red to yellow. If J4 built full damage, he has a big red one. If it's an Udyr, his circle is tiny. Know what can hurt and kill you and wait out crucial spells.
