Duo Queue

So I really enjoy playing duo queue, as an adc main it is nice to have a support who I have experience with, right? I've been checking the average MMR of teams before ranked matches begin, and almost always my team is 15-20 points lower than the enemy team.

I've had several people tell me this is an insignificant difference, but it feels like quite a bit in most of our matches.

First of all, in the silver-gold 'skill range' it seems as if there is very little consistency in actual skill. FOR EXAMPLE:

Some matches I play poorly and get carried by my team, other matches I play wonderfully and get dragged down by my team. Yet I still find I am able to consistently win solo queue matches.

As soon as I begin to duo queue, however, matchmaking becomes consistently terrible. Teammates become considerably worse than opponents to the extent that they cannot be carried. People may say this is relative, and that in reality my duo queue partner and I are not very good players. I understand that bottom lane is not the best place to carry a team from, but since that is the lane most likely to have a duo, does that not once again justify a more balanced approach to matchmaking?

It would be nice if players could rank each other according to their apparent skill level, other than the 'unskilled player' option in the report drop-down menu. If someone carries me through a game, I would gladly rate them high to help them get into a higher bracket. Likewise, if I have unskilled teammates or mediocre players it would be nice to have an option to rate them accordingly because the "Win-Loss" system is completely random.

IDK! It would be nice to play with people at my skill level, whether that be bronze or platinum or whatever. It would be great if the ranking system could actually help to accomplish that.
