Server difficulty - is it only made up in my mind?

Hey I have played around 100 ranked solo games in both Europe West and Europe North & East. I play the same champions on both servers but have a HUGE difference in performance depending on the server I am playing on. Both accounts are in mid to semi-high ELO, matching with people from platinum 3 to platinum 1. I have the same play style on both servers but for some reason I can't seem to be successful on Europe West. I have under 50% win rate on west but mindbogglingly high over 67% win rate on Europe North & East.

Are there different general play styles on different servers? Is the meta different? Is the problem caused by me thinking that Europe West is more difficult due to it having all the EU pro players?

I really want to succeed on the West server because I want to meet famous players on the rift!

EUNE is actually worse than EUW in skill. You can't say its because of the pro players because you said that you're in Gold/Plat elo, so the only explanation is that EUW is better than EUNE.
