Laning VS Brand

I was just wondering, how do you lane against a brand as a melee? He's just so annoying in lane and in teamfights and whenever I lane against him I feel like he makes my laning phase hell as a melee champ. He has good sustain damage, burst damage and I just wanted to know if any of you guys have tips and no, not tips like "lmao learn to dodge stun", something besides that pls

Try to towerfarm as much as possible, and move erratically so he can't predict where you're going. It won't fix the problem, but it will make it easier to play against him.

If you are second pick on champ select, don't select a melee champ against Brand. If you are first pick, then you can do the following.
Switch lanes with someone playing a range champion.
Farm under tower
Watch and time his cooldown
Get help from jungler
