Conspiracy behind "New Plants" and Pre-season Changes

I truly believe that Riot knows these plants will NOT work.

However, I feel they are being extremely calculated in these decisions.

Think for a minute maybe these new "Plants" are just a distraction so they can remove Smite buffs and Enemy targeted smites. This would then be transitioned into new mastery strengths (New Masteries, yet to be seen).

This in turn will make individual Junglers easier to balance because they will all have the same smite. (No more pre-revert Kog Challenging smite cheese)

Then to top it off, Riot looks like a hero when they remove the plants "based on community feedback".

Honestly this is one of the most telegraphed albeit crafty things riot has done recently. the best part is they can actually rely on the negativity of the community to help them bring their plan to fruition.

tl;dr Please read it is not that long and there is a lot of potential truth to this conspiracy.

I can see why you may think this, but it's highly unlikely. When has the community ever been nice to riot for reverting something? Compare the amount of DQ hate articles to the ones thanking Riot for bringing back SQ.
