They are coming champion theory (Averdrian)
Im thinking it is averdrian but reworked because Riot has not made a traditional mage in awhile and they said it would not be an assassin or a support but look at the pictures

Would be cool if they revisit Averdrian concept. I always thought he had potential.
It'd actually be neat, but the emblem doesn't really match the one on Averdrian's forehead. Why do you think the picture matches?
It'd honestly be kind of neat if it was an ADC. Aatrox's bow-wielding rival come to quell wars instead of instigate them! (As if!)

My guess is a void based support that changes minions using the tech tested in black market brawlers.
i liked the concept but:
1- they said he didn't match riot's "artistic style" (could be solved with visual rework)
2- they reworked his abilities and ended up making 
and 
so they would still have to start from scratch
or The Watchers are coming
Ao Shin's release date, at least according to Riot, should be somewhat close by since they said to expect him late this year or very early 2016 if he was still to be released.
We are due for a top laner.
We havent hard a top laner since Gnar. And We havent had a fighter since Rek sai. (who isnt even a fighter anymore).
I feel like Ao Shin, if he does get released, won't arrive until riot has an Ionia event. I think from the lore it said that he would only appear when ionia was in peril, and it just seems like that would be the most fitting.
People are also thinking it's that two spirit champ concept somewhere in the skin/champ board. I also remember a rioter saying that 'we should get ready for a unique champ' or something along the lines of that.
I can see it.
I must admit it would be a very pleasant surprise if the next champ is Averdrian with the updated look of that harrowing icon. Equally surprising would be if Ao Shin came next as opposed to early 2016 as riot said. Either way I guess we should "Be ready to be surprised " :D
