Lethality Was A Bad Idea

Since Lethality came out AD assassins have been a problem or completely weak. I was a Talon OTP from 2012 to 2017 and I have many accounts. This is like my 3rd or 4th. On the below link, you can see Talons win rate plummetting when he was first reworked. You can also see just how volatile his win rate from this point forward.

I do not believe this volatility is caused by Talons new kit. I think this volatility is due to lethality. As I said before, I was a Talon OTP from 2012-2017. If I am being completely honest, Talons new kit is WAY more consistent than his old kit, (still miss it though). I honestly expected his win rate to be more stable after the rework, but lethality f***** it up. Ever since then when item 3147 item 3142 is too strong Talon is too strong, and when item 3147 item 3142 is too weak, Talon is too weak.

Also, the collapse in win rate that happened right after the Talon rework was not due to his skill ceiling being too high. It was due to lethality being so trash on release. In season 6 this account was plat 3 with a 63% win rate on Talon. At the beginning of season 7, I was actually HARD stuck gold 5 with 44% win rate. I stopped playing league for a while.

When I heard lethality got buffed I came back and EASILY pushed from g5 to plat 5 and increased my win rate to 57%. I got no better at the champion, lethality was simply good. I felt like such a dirty meta slave I stopped playing league seriously.

TL:DR - Lethality was a terrible idea and made ad assassins EVEN MORE volatile. Give us armor pen back.

Lethality is far better than arpen balance wise.
