Garen Suggestion: A possible addition to his passive

So Pyke having a passive that converted health to ad to compliment his kit made me think of something that could help out my favorite top laner GAREN. What if he had a passive that would convert mana to some other useful stat? it would open up some items that he would love to build, such as iceborn gauntlet or righteous glory. It also fits thematically, as demacian armor absorbs the magic of the items and converts it to something better. I feel like this could make garen better and open up his itemization as his current options feel lackluster.

Honestly I think this is less of a Garen issue and more of an issue that any and all no-mana champions have to deal with. Would be nice if mana would be an adaptive stat of sorts, and give a significantly smaller amount of something to them (energy/energy regen to energy champions, health regen to cooldown champions?)

No thanks. Garen is already braindead enough. Giving him flat buffs is only going to make him even moreso.
