The king's Peace (Day 4) Quest will not progress for me.

I have played at least two games today. I noticed after the first game that the mission did not update with any minions kills, and after the second game before which i restarted the client i confirmed that this is not a fluke. Is there a way to fix this? Garen's side is losing and I want to help support it. I am worried that the mission will expire before i can complete it.

i logged in just a few minutes ago and got my first win and i got progression towards this mission which both happened like 3-4 hours ago

Garen's Day 4 is stuck at 798/800 for me
