What exactly about dynamic queue do people not like?

I seriously don't understand. Is it just that you might get matched up against people who are in a larger group than you? Because I think the actual match-making and finding a game is fantastic. I love being able to choose my two main roles and always be able to play one of the two, no matter what. People are crying for solo queue but I have some real rough memories of people auto-locking last pick zed when they're supposed to be support. I also remember having to fill roles that I'm trash at (namely adc) and losing because I couldn't seem to figure out the role.

I see so many people crying for solo queue but why do you want it? People have been able to duo queue for a long time, and the riot matchmaking won't queue you up against larger groups unless you also have a larger group on your team. The communication is balanced, and sure sometimes there'd be one extra person in a discord call but people have been able to duo queue against solo queuer's for a long time.

I'm not trying to pick a fight, I'm just legitimately curious as to why you're all so upset with dynamic queue

you can have Solo Queue while still being able to pick 2 main roles, people just want a "dynamic" queue with a limit of 2 premades like it was.

on your topic on not being matched against larger groups, this is false. There is a (slight) chance you will face a full premade). While in absolutes this chance is not high (5%?), if you consider that most people have a 50% win rate, 5% chance of standing no chance vs a full premade team is high.

example: some games ago i was Queueing with a friend (2 man)(our 3 team mates were strangers solo Q'ing) and we ended up against a 5 man premade, they would just 4-5 man push down turrets, and as an uncoordinated team, you have no answer to that. Also any play you made was directly denied by their team TPing in as they had direct communication via voice chat.

The only sensible complaint about Dynamic Que was that in Teambuilder you could leave if there was a troll pick, while in Dynamic Que you are punished for hopping out of a troll lobby. It puts players in a box, forcing them to play a game with a Soraka jungle when they could've just found a new lobby with Teambuilder.

The constant pre-made teams, 4 and 3 man's ruin the experience for the solo player.

Especially more because its allowed now in the Ranked Queue.

I have had more games with 4 man parties then I would like.

It also doesn't help because these teams don't communicate at all with you. Seriously, the chat is non-existent and they don't respond, as well as to pings and setting up defensive/offensive early invade checks.

More people sit at the tower now and don't coordinate. It has gotten worse.

Go look at my games if you don't believe me.

Don't get me started on the odd ball picks these teams want to do and the black balling tactics to force other players to their whim Cause it happened to me last game as Jungle Maokai [I had to go tank, because I was forced to since we had none and were flaming me for being the odd man out]

Most of the complaints is that when selecting 2 roles, most of the time you get the 2nd role instead of your primary.

Usually the point of Primary role is to have that role happen to you most of the times, but because they always pick the most famous roles such as top/mid/jungle, those who don't want adc/support sometimes end up stuck with those.
