MMR explain! I am CONFUSION

When I win a game I get 20lp.... when I lose one I lose 19lp.... How is this working? It's definitely not because I do bad every game. My mmr is Around normal but still kinda low. And still what bases my mmr? I get constant B+ to S- but cant seem to catch a break. even when I do good and play well with a bad team it effects my mmr and is making it impossible to climb nearly.

Can someone explain why it's so low and why I lose so much lp? I know that lp is given based off mmr but why do I keep losin mmr even if I'm winning?

The best advice I can give you, is just don't look at lp at all. Don't try to understand it, don't try to justify it. MMR and lp isn't a great indication of skill, it's more representative of how much you play. Folks who are in the upper leagues are there because they play a massive amount of games.. don't get me wrong they are good.. but it's a result of playing a massive amount of games and improving over time.

So, don't worry or look at it. Just play, have fun, and try to learn something new each game. Before you know it you will be advancing.
