Working out the Effect of Pyke on the Game...

So far, Pyke has definitely had an effect on games. And you may find this interesting - and this is coming from a support main (and these are my observations across 3 accounts):

I am being autofilled as a jungle(!) - I can't remember the last time that has happened in normals (I do recall it happening a few times in ranked though).
I am seeing lots of players who claim to be support mains, yet I'll outward them easily as Mundo jungle.
I am seeing a lot of dodges when either Pyke is picked or banned
I am seeing players queue in ranked as Pyke jungle - and then raging when they fall behind in farm.
Thinking that maybe he was a bit overbuffed on release (found him okay on PBE but now he seems much stronger).

Any other observations you guys have made/noticed?

Pyke on my team: "hurp derp duurrrr" Pyke on enemy team: "I am within 400 range of you. you die now. [POOF!]"

Pyke was way stronger on the PBE before they nerfed him, don't think they overbuffed him. People just don't seem to understand how to play him, that's my thoughts as an assassin main, since he's rather easy to pick up, at least in my opinion.

His playstyle is somewhat similar to Evelynn support's, but he's a much better teamfighter since he can wipe entire teams almost singlehandedly if played right.

@ the last point: If they are queueing Jungle and falling behind on CS, That's THEIR personal issue, not Pyke's. I can outfarm almost any jungler right now with Pyke. I've never been able to counter jungle the way I am right now with him with surgical in - out camp stealing.

It means they basically are the same complaint you have about support ones: They don't know how to do their job.

Last point: Pyke was NERFED before release. Not buffed. His R was reduced from 140% AD scaling to 60%. Nothing else was really changed, other than a slight 3 AD base AD change.

They also fixed his HP scaling with Overgrowth/Resolve/Warmog's/Cinderhulk, so he can no longer get 3050 HP.

Personally, I think Pyke is in a solid place as a jungler. I've already mostly learned his kit for Diamond II Jungling. I think he's weak as a support, and okay as a mid/top.... vs situational champions. He feels better to play than Evelynn and counters most meta pick junglers (So far I've dominated XinZhao Zac Trundle Rengar Nocturne

My only challenge is..... when I gank and ambush, I don't get enough of the kills. I do most of the damage, but while I'm casting my R, some teammate of mine is killing my target off. They don't know to back off and let me have it.

So I'm getting scores like 7/2/13 instead of 13/2/7.

I didn't even get to PBE him.... and he seems super easy to pick up.... Maybe its because I used to play Nidalee , and currently play Ornn Learning to manipulate the walls/dashes is pretty much already there in my hands. I've just never been a Darius.
