As for me I'm trying to use him, with very poor results.
I would like to know what the comunity think of him after the devourer nerf and if YGB is a viable option for him. Honestly i feel like it's too hard to reach if you don' t snowball early.
PhantomGG1 votesMy opinion is that Udyr got the nerf hammer pretty hard. Almost all his offensive build have been nerfed to the ground. The Ap build is no longer to hot, the AD build doesn't split push as fast as it use to. And the biggest charm to him.
"a split pusher who can one v one with ease if played properly" seems to no longer exist. His main job now in team fights is to get tanky, and to charge the enemy adc, as the adc is forced to run for dear life.
But tell me, if that's all you are getting from him. Why not just pick Olaf or Shyvana? who does that job even better.
The problem with Udyr is that after the nerfs he lost his identity. Riot needs to give that back to him. Honestly I never understood the nerfs in the first place. Sure he was played in the lcs, but he was never the most powerful jungler. Meanwhile Kindred and Nidalee have been left as the games most powerful junglers for a entire year. Granted Riot has tried to nerf them. But they allowed them to stay relevant.
Udyr was op for a single patch and was nerfed to the ground.

And i manage to do my job till level 10/15 ... but in open TF i just feel useless.
Full Tank = 0 Dmg Mix dmg Build and i'm dead before i can even reach the enemy ADC or Mid
