Bruiser Kog'Maw?
So I've been messing around with builds for my favorite champ and came across something rather peculiar. Lately lots of adc champs have been building Black Cleaver and Youmuu's Ghostblade for an armor shredding combo. I've always built Frozen Mallet on Kog'Maw because not only does it give you more health to overcome being assassinated, but it's great for teamfights when your team is ahead because you can keep people from getting away with the slow, or force them to burn a flash or use a mobility ability. But for me, that's not enough. He can still be assassinated and focused hard in team fights because the fact that he's pretty much a semi-mobile turret. I think I've found a build that provides Kog'Maw with a decent amount of protection, without completely hampering his total damage output. But before I explain the builds, I will say this first. This is purely my ideas of how to protect myself, simply because my positioning as an adc is AWFUL! BUT, I love this champ, so fun to play. Even when you are losing, you feel like you can always make a comeback with him. I try to play Kog as much as possible, even without the ideal tank team, so when that happens, I often end up being right in the middle of everything during team fights rather than safely on the edge. YES I KNOW! I'm bad, and I need to "git gud". I'm Just a silver player sharing my thoughts. Please be considerate in your feedback and don't criticize too much.
So, onto the builds. Depending on the situations like a fed assassin, a tanky enemy team, or just the fact that I'm ahead or behind, these builds have suited me well so far in trial.

are in all of the builds, so the other three items will be a combination of:

Some of my more favorite builds are:

Yes, I know that all three of these lack boots. Like I said, I'm bad. I only build boots when the enemy team is either super mobile, or when I am behind and need to get back to farming faster. I know it's bad, and I'm trying to build them more often.
I would love if some higher elo players who are good and know what they are doing tried out a few of these builds and gave me their opinions of them. Pro's and Con's. You don't need to ruin your ranked games, just try them out in normals or customs with other skilled players.
Once again, I'm silver, I'm bad, I know. No need to criticize too harshly unless you absolutely KNOW that this would never work in higher elo. I'm pretty sure that with these builds I can make it to at least gold if I try long enough. I am just looking for feedback and opinions, because these builds have let me endure team fights where the focus was on me, let me survive and actually outplay assassins even when they are fed, and carry a few games that we were losing badly. I know that they have at least some potential, I just don't know how much.
So, thanks for reviewing, and an even bigger thanks to those who try this style of builds out and give me their feedback.
