It's losing the ward clear passive and 11 lethality (21->10), so they're giving it something that isn't just raw damage.
Edit: It's actually Edge of Night that's getting lowered to 10 lethality. Because it wasn't already shitty enough I guess???

Sanguine + Tryndamere or Jax or Nocturne. No counterplay.
because a big reason assassins need so much damage to function is the heals coming from supports, essentially this allows rito to make assassins deal less damage while still being viable :)
Yeah, Riot is not liking the fact that some tanks can 1v1 assasins.
So now, they are making sure assasins can beat every other class by default.
Like come on. I play assasins more than any other class and even I think the change is stupid. We are just lowering the power of defensive items and reducing vision control. It is like Riot wants S10 to be the season to be only for casuals.
Since when bruiser care about GW? You are supposed to be heavy war mashine... not deadpool. Item have less lethality and conqueror lost true damage - put armor on your armor and charge to battle like a true bruiser.
I'm okay with Duskblade getting GW if it loses the anti-vision passive. If they're further screwing the One Item Zed roams by moving the lethality powerspike to two items then all the better. That means I won't be getting a roam bot at 7-8 minutes every single time there's a mage on my side of mid and an assassin on theirs. Not to mention GW doesn't do anything to shields :)
