is this item trash.. since almost everyone has aoe spells???

Think about someone like Talon with Q or Rengar Q/E... or Kha'Zix Q... I think Assassins or ADC's personally will like this.
Most people with AoE spells also have some sort of single target spell. Not all, but most.
Still, the healing is great off of AoE.
Probably not since almost all the users have plenty of single-target damage sources (namely, auto attacks.)
