Do Assassins Need Nerf? (Fizz)
As we all know, many champions in League are considered "OP" or "broken beyond belief". People rally to their computers and post long winded discussions on the boards (kinda like this one). For example, take Fizz... This little... Ahem*... guy can burst you down in an instant, and leaving you dumbfounded. Take a look at one of the main reasons new Fizz is considered OP.
Seastone Trident: TOTAL MAGIC DAMAGE: 25 / 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 (+ 33.3% AP) ACTIVE: Fizz's next basic attack deals bonus magic damage. If the target has been bleeding for at least 2 seconds, the damage dealt is tripled. 「 BONUS MAGIC DAMAGE: 25 / 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 (+ 33.3% AP) 」 If Seastone Trident kills its target, its cooldown is reduced to 1 second and refunds mana. MANA REFUNDED: 20 / 28 / 36 / 42 / 50
If used correctly, this move can, and will be, abused towards ending your already unfair game. As a Fizz player, I know how useful it is to get the W resets off CS-ing, however the bleed proc is simply overwhelming. The purest tilt inducing champion is surely Fizz. He can make your ADC's cry, your top laners AFK and your mid uninstall if played to his highest potential. I'm not going to drag this out, seeing as how this champion's strength is a very well-worn beaten path. Basically what I'm asking is this: Is FIzz, (and champions like him; ie. Yasuo, Zed, Camille, etc.), a balanced champion(s)? Are they so far gone that they would need some sort of fix or nerf? The link above is a video that shows how overwhelming the Tidal Trickster can be.
