Tips for playing better and staying calmer.
- 1 Don't think about what annoys you, or how someone could have done X differently, for more than a few seconds.
- 2 If you see someone become toxic in chat, do not reply to it.
- 3 Limit yourself to only typing useful information.
- 4 If you find yourself losing lane, ward up, play it safe, and help others succeeded in theirs. This is a team game after all.
- 5 Clear your mind of all the things that aren't important to the moment you are in right now.
- 6 Actively think about what your opponent can do to best you, and work around that.
- 7 Actively think about what you can do to best your opponent
- 8 Always buy and place at least one control ward per game.
- 9 Always ping the enemy jungler whenever you see them on the mini-map.
- 10 After you call missing in your lane, danger ping your other lanes. This increases the chances of enemy ganks not succeeding.
- 11 If you lose a match, never play another right after, give yourself 5-10 minutes to clear your mind. This helps you get back into the mindset of tip 5.
- 12 Make sure to eat enough food, and drink enough water. Staying well in both those compartments improves your mental state greatly.
- 13 If you often listen to music while playing, try turning it off. As this gives your mind one less thing to pay attention to.
- 14 Always seek out new information, and try to learn something new every day.
