Unpopular opinion: Bans didn't make ARAM less random than rerolls do

The main con against bans in ARAM was how it "ruins the all random factor", therefore they removed it. Now, when I start a game I see this: everyone rerolls like crazy until gets a favorable champion with heavy poke damage or if the rerolls were unfortunate they pick someone from the ditched champions' pool. It effectively means a player can choose from 8-10 champions in every game. Please explain me Riot or any of those who were so against bans: this is not against your precious all random factor? I cannot even see the "all random" at all. How did bans make ARAM less random than these things do?

ARAM won't be random until they remove rerolls and unlock all the champs. That would make it far more frustrating though.

They didn't. But, in a way, they made ARAM a little bit less frustrating.

All bans did was counter the bench.

Remove bench no need for bans.

Why don't they include bans and allow both sides to get the same champs? I don't see a problem with having the same champ on either side.
