True Damage in League as it is now.

True damage

In the current meta of league alot of people are really sick of true damage in all of its forms, from the simple like Irelia's flat true damage to vayne's %max hp true damage, People really don't like getting 100-0 in a 1-4 sec time frame, I honesty think the problem is not with the true damage it self but with the ratio it scales with on the champions that use it. Lets go down a list and see if we can find why and where true damage is being abused to just be toxic.

Before we begin tho i want to put out the fact that i think True damage in any form is needed to prevent another Super tank meta where nothing can get done, because it was shown awhile ago that it is the best way to counter Mega tanks.

Fiora : She needs her ratios tuned down or just capped out after a point she should never be able to hit 30% per vital Gangplank :His passive true damage is fine its noticeable without being the main source of damage like true damage should be Garen :Garen's Ult doing true damage is honestly not needed due to the fact if he is going to ult you in the first place you would been to be low enough and missing enough hp for a normal ult to kill you. The True damage from being the villain is almost invisible. Irelia: She is abusing rage blade/sated to deal a lot of true damage too fast her numbers are not the problem its the Item combo that breaks her. Twitch: I forgot he did true damage he needs a new passive imo. Vayne : She does true damage after three hits but with the adc build path those three hits are not hard to hit, lower the % of true damage done and she will be fine again MasterYi : His true damage is fine but is break when paired with sated/rage blade with red smite. Ahri : Her true damage is fine, the mixed damage is balanced around how she is doing. Chogath : Ok This one can be tame or just broken depending on how they built, 1500 true damage from one point and click is just a bit much but requires you to be a easy target to kill. Much like a assassin. Darius : Darius true damage is fair on the base of he needs to stack his passive and then kill the target to get his reset and max true damage which in itself is not that bad. his everything else is his problem(Cough 200 ad at 18 passive Cough") KogMaw : a non factor in about 90 of out 100 deaths, He needs a new passive. Nunu : Can't use on champions, really just a second smite, Fine as is. Olaf : low true damage and low ratio, Needs some more base damage to make it notable RekSai : requires 100 fury to deal true damage has a pretty good ratio, Balanced. Velkoz : Lot of true damage output behind a wall called skill shots so its worth is only as good as his player, Zyra : Needs a new passive, Her's is somehow worse then kog maw's 15 out of 100 deaths if you are lucky enough or your foes forgot what your passive was.
Dragon true damage is fine as it is limited by time to get and the time before it fades again.

Anyway i would like to hear what you think about this subject, I honestly think is more of the item combos making the true damage broken then the champions themselves, Save for a few.

i'm fine with fiora's true damage. if she didn't have the mobility of a bird and a broken retarded kit

I think that true damage is a mechanic that bypasses the normal rules of engagement: armor, MR, and in the % case even hp and therefore, accessing true damage should come with mastery of execution. Ahri's orb is a good example. It does magic damage on the way out, but true damage on the way back. In order to land the true damage there is an execution factor and when Ahri lands the true damage, it is deserved. True damage should be a culmination of something and not a matter of course, imo.
