The state of Yasuo

I believe that ever since crit in general was reworked, Yasuo is not as viable anymore. With his early and mid game spikes being much more difficult to come by unless super fed, it is hard for me to want to even play the champion anymore. One of the few saving graces he has right now is this sort of bruiser meta in which Yasuo is a viable counter pick to AD carries that rely on crit items. Sure, they did a few hotfixes and the cost of being lowered by 100 gold, but it still does not do enough. Riot has said they plan on looking at reworking Yasuo's passive and ultimate abilities but I kinda enjoy Yasuo's kit as it is.

yasuo is vaible ... ask faker .. he would say if yasuo is not banned pick him.. you just need to play him different. [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

I like his kit as is. I vote it stays that way and his ult be reverted to its previous penetration state.

If you're struggling taking him mid/top i suggest you try him bot. I've found this to be more enjoyable and viable since you have someone peeling you and applying extra pressure. Having a support is like a yasuo players dream to begin with, especially since many supports have knock ups. I usually start Dorans Shield or Relic, depending on match up

Double relic is pretty strong with naut/thresh.

I also suggest varying his build path. I seem to enjoy buying zeal then going to IE instead of finishing zeal. This gives you enough dmg to be viable before you finish all the crit, albeit at the cost of some mobility/cdr. That mobility doesn't matter as much if you have a support engaging for you.

This is my opinion and im a lowly gold scrub who plays mostly norms lol so I'd still like to hear other yasuo mains' opinions of my thoughts, but they seem to be working for me.
