"Going Back to Good League"

I started in March of 2016, which means that I have not been playing for a full year. However, in that time, I have come to learn that people seem to really like the state of the game during Season 3. If thats the case, and people really dislike whats happening with all the changes, then why not go back to Season 3 basics? What made Season 3 so much better than other years of league? Why not return to what made that Season enjoyable? Why not just try and balance the game more so every champion is playable, and stop pumping out new champs and changing around everything? Those are real questions that Im curious about by the way. Thanks, William Slamson

They didn't have position selection in season 3 nor autofill. So you useally got the role you wanted had low que times and wasnt bullyied by riot into autofill. Also games were longer and seem more fun. You had a number of stacking items like lantern, in the jungle that transformed. Team comps didnt have tobe 1 top 1 mid 1 jug and 2 bot but usually were. You met in the lobby and with your team desided on roles and placement as a team. It allowed more team cordination and sportsmanship. League is twice as toxic today as it was then. Builds and every game is almost the same now.

I joined right when Season 3 started. You want to know why it was so good?

  1. No Yasuo
  2. Jungler was optional (duo top was the norm, after season 3 ended junglers were a thing for good so we can have level 2 rengar's diving level 6 rivens at half health and ruining your game!)
  3. Team Builder (guaranteed champ and role, pick who you want on the team, kick out people you don't want) began its three year, way too short existence.
  4. Patches didn't come out every two weeks so people actually got to play champions without nerfing/buffing/changing everything about them constantly.
  5. Most people were a lot nicer than our lovely community today. People would help newbies out, now most newbies are just smurfs trolling on a new account.
  6. Nobody dreaded the incoming reworks to their champions which Riot had so much confidence in they refuse to offer refunds once the champion is announced as being reworked, since at this point the champions were still all relatively newish.

Now today, everything gets changed constantly and we have Yasuo running around with nearly no cooldown destroying people thinking he's actually skilled, and right next to him is true damage assassin Yi with a meditate that pauses his ult and E while he stacks double-strike, builds being generally static like you said, champions being changed significantly every two weeks, and team builder being gone for the failure that is champ select which actually is WORSE than a mode added four years ago for champion and role guarantees.
