When are you going to understand?

he can be 35% winrate, yet be the most hated champion of the game

you have to remove hit kit everyone has been complaining since his release 2 yeaes ago

Poorly worded, but you're spot on. People don't hate his numbers or his winrate... they hate his playstyle. They hate his kit and how obnoxious it is. They hate his mains generally being toxic, arrogant jerkoffs. They hate playing against him... and honestly, most also hate having him on their team too for a lot of reasons.

Dude needs a rework if he's ever gonna get off the permaban couch... When someone is THAT hated by THAT many people despite his numbers being so low... it's a sign that maybe he's poorly designed and needs to be fixed even if he isn't overpowered in the least.

Or play champs that counter him.

I always have a fun time when I lane against him as Garen.

Oh you wanna try dashing around? That's cute. Let's see how that works out for you when you're silenced and in the middle of my spin.

And what do I play mid when my team needs AP?

  • Lissandra? Don't like her playstyle.
  • Malzahar? See Lissandra.
  • Anivia? I'm not gonna play a farmlane against a Yasuo even if I actually like her.
  • Rumble? I don't even know if he's a counter to Yasuo, but I can't play him competitively (want to though)
  • Azir? Too weak, takes way too long to scale into a decent spot.

If it's really that important to have AP, then get Galio. He can handle Yasuo. Has the range, tankiness, and CC to give Yas a hard time. It can be a bit tougher and you have to play smarter, but it's definitely doable.

There's also Cho. You have to be careful earlier on, but once you get your skills like your almost lane wide Silence and good size AOE knockup combined with tankiness Yas definitely won't be running you over.

Otherwise, you may have to forgo AP and just play someone that can hard counter him. Coordinate with your team and see if someone else can get AP like the top laner or may just end up playing a team that doesn't have much AP.

Singed. Too tanky to burst, he'll never have his passive shield ( toss in a thornmail and it's even more so.) His windwall is useless against you.

Lauchmelder1 votes

True, but Singed is more known for being the proxy champion.

I sometimes went Rammus as in: "I can't have fun, you can't have fun." But that's not the best thing to do either.

i think he be ok if they just drop that stupid passive that gives him double crit for free . i think the rest of his kit is fine. i cant tell u how many times ive destroyed a yas in lane only to have him start droping ppl left and right once he gets a statik shiv and half of a damage item. There is no way u can keep him down enough not to be able to 100 crit and one dps item, and then he is just a freakin disgusting monster that is 0 and 10 but can still penta your team.

Are you kidding me? have you played post nerf-Q yasuo yet? The cooldown on his q hit him pretty hard bro. let me break it down for you since you have trouble understanding.

Pre-nerf Yasuo: Time between first and second Q cast (time yasuo can hold Q stacks) = 10 seconds. Cooldown on Yasuo Q at level 1 = 3.55 seconds with runes + masteries. This is the time Yasuo must wait before he casts another Q. If Yasuo misses a Q cast on a minion to get cast 2 tornado, he can Q again within 3.5 seconds.

_Example: _ Tonado without missing Q Q....wait 3.5s.....Q = fully stacked tornado. _Example: _ Tonado if yasuo misses a Q Q....wait 3.5s.....Q(misses)....wait 3.5s....Q = fully stacked tornado

Pre-nerf Yasuo is pretty safe to play/lane as because he can hold the each individual Q stacks for 10 seonds, so a 20 second hold on Q in total while you sit under tower trying to dodge his tornado.

**Post-nerf Yasuo: **Time between Q casts = 6 seconds. If Yasuo waits too long or misses his Q cast on minion to get tornado, He will lose all stacks on Q because the cooldown of his Q is 3.5 seconds, he will have to wait 3.5 + 3.5 = 7 seconds to get tornado, the problem is that the stack only lasts 6 seconds. So he wont have time to get a tornado if he's misses a q stack.

Example: Tornado without missing Q Q.... wait 3.5s....Q = fully stacked tornado. Example: No Tornado if Yasuo misses a Q Q.... wait 3.5s....Q(misses)....wait 3.5s = All Stacks fall because not enough time to get a 3rd Q. Example: Tornado if Yasuo misses a Q Q.... wait 3.5s....Q(misses)....wait 3.5s....StacksFall....Q....wait 3.5s....Q = fully stacked tornado

Post nerf Yasuo requires the player to be risky and aggressive (hence will make more mistakes) because he has a smaller window of opertunitty to harass his opponent. Plus if he must land all his q stacks perfectly and even then the tornado only lasts 6 seconds instead of 10. in total his stacks now only last 6 + 6 = 12 seconds instead of the 20 seconds of pre nerf yasuo. That's an insane 8 second nerf to 1 ability (which is not even an ultimate). Just saying, play new yasuo and then you will see how vulnerable he is without the new Q stacks. Its an insane difference on his playstyle.
