Get's Both the Damage AMP and CDR when using Ult. IMO this is the Best since gives it gives the Pick and Assassination potential that old Ahri had while not making her one dimensional.

so you're creating a burst mage that has CDR mechanic to DPS

nothing wrong there

yep, also her ult move her toward dealing AoE damage (with 40/45% CDR she will Q every time she dash, her R deals AoE damage as well),putting her more toward a mage/BPS mage playstyle, but her E is a single target nuke, basically an assassin mechanic

idk why pple downvote if you just don't have their opinion, actually you made a good point, these changes aren't giving her an identity and removing her from the "jack of all trades" state

[zombie-brand-mindblown]

~~edit: also 1.5 sec reduction per ult bolt (4.5 if you hit 3 champions),so now i can literally permacharm a target for a total of 8 sec? ~~

~~so....healty ~~[sg-jinx]

edit 2 : didn't notice it doesn't work like the 2nd mini rework ult (it's on cast so always 1.5),though with it you can actually do that

i still think the charm version is the best

i would love ahri to come back as a oneshot machine , i had so much fun playing her when her charm added 20% bonus damage in season 3 and 4

oh well since then i only play bruiser and my midlane ability rusted so idc, ahri mains will choose which version they want

actually the best was the first one (i didn't love it but it was nice),i just hate how she's getting more power on her ult while its CD is getting nerfed, that makes her too reliant on her ult and if she doesn't have it up she's basically a minion

especially when the tradeoff is nerfing the already too high CD of her W (10 sec),the change i appreciated most were when they buffed its CD (8~4 sec),she felt so much better to play

HP Crookshanks1 votes

I know right. She already relies on her ult too much with these changes she will be useless without her ult.

Bisaknosp1 votes

yup thats what i was thinking too ult cd nerf is why i dislike these changes overall its not even a gamebreaking ultimate and for how much she is reliant on it they could really reduce its cd plus i dont like the tradeoff more dmg but most of the time i wont get in range to get it off because ult is down meh playstyle will change to play like a bitch everytime your ult is down

It doesn't trigger off of hitting champs it triggers off of casting ult so it's only 1.5/3.0/4.5 cooldown reduced.

he's talking about the rework from riot, not from the op

Sarcasm or srs?

Personally, I don't think it's that bad since her DPS is so (relatively) lacking that giving her a way to DPS a little more might bring her enough in line and enable her to do stuff while behind if she can't flank for the kill.

And (I haven't done the math yet) it looks like she's gonna have more overall damage in a fight if you're playing her correctly, less if you have to get out ASAP.

Sire Hippington2 votes

given that most 'dps' mages also have strong burst(or CC + enough damage to kill you with it), it just fits the current pattern of the midlane meta(azir, ryze, cassio, thalia...)

1 dash and 1.5 second cooldown reduction on basic abilities as an ultimate?

Even level one that's pretty fucking pathetic

especially when you think her E is going to have 10 sec CD for that

Actually I love this one , but sadly gonna miss the 5 dashes xD

I like these changes.

Removing the speed boost on Q means that Ahri cannot just Q the wave and run away to waveclear and last-hit. I don’t know why they increased her fox-fire delay, but I think it’s to force her to charm before casting the ability. Turning her charm from a nuke to an amp is interesting and fits her lore thematic. The ult’s cooldown mechanic is like what I was hoping for. It lets her clean up teamfights.

I think Ahri won’t be a safe, generic mid laner anymore. Her farming, poking, and trading will take more skill, and her power will be more tied up in riskier all-ins and teamfight cleanup. She’ll be much more interesting and enjoyable to play against.

120 seconds cooldown on her ONLY mobility spell is too much. Why don't give her 1/2/3 dashes and reduce it's cooldown? I still think charm version is the best because it's less ult reliant than the other two with really long ult cooldowns. I don't want her to be Malphite v2 (OP with ult, useless without ult).

Now this I like. I had mixed feeling about the the other two, but this is an excellent compromise.

Bisaknosp1 votes

already looking for a new main anyways x)

Eedat1 votes

That's definitely too much. Just going to end up like the last Ahri rework. It'll hit live, be broken OP, and result in a hotfix plus nerfs the next few patches

Ahri Inari1 votes

I think it's the best version, but number are overtuned, this is going to make Ahri too good.

BADWOLF95471 votes

I'm an Ahri main but I haven't noticed... I'v been playing All for one not stop.

zaire901 votes

I was thinking she needed like a combination of the 2 and I prefer this one just needs some number changes so it isnt too strong

Glory971 votes

Imo the amazing part about v2 was, that you had to hit champion with spirit rush to get the cd refund. To maximize cd refund you'd have to jump near the frontline to hit 3 enemy champions, ofc while not getting oneshot. And also it doesnt reward using spirit rush only to escape. I don't like this cutdown v3 version of unconditional cd refund.

I still think that the ult having 5 charges for free is a little too powerful. The problem is still that she can ult away from being caught really easily, and now with 5 dashes she can chase people a lot harder.

Don't get me wrong, it looks fun being able to dash 5 times, but it's going to piss her opponents off a whole lot more. And I don't really want it if Ahri winds up banned every damn game like Yasuo was several months ago. No point in reworking the champion if it doesn't get to be played anyways due to being banned all the time.

Also with regards to the cooldown reductions, making it feel like her spells are up more often will (IMO) cheapen their value. It won't feel as important to use a Q or E effectively if I can have it back off cooldown so easily with a couple casts of the ult.

Is there any chance Riot could revisit her passive and do something cooler with it that is more thematically appropriate? For example, stacking the effects on enemies rather than on herself, then draining from enemies that are marked with the stacks.

Trashball1 votes

In this set of changes it appears that she only gets the standard 3 charges

HalcyonDweller1 votes

These changes include previous changes from version 2. It doesn't specify that they left it at getting more charges of R at higher levels of the ability. You can see the complete ability if you look at the tooltip in the PBE or on Surrender@20

So ive been playing Ahri since she came out...and ive tried so many different playstyles. The charm effect was definitely a favorite of mine. Ahri's ult for me...usually is more or less used for positioning over just straight up nuking. 5 at max level is kinda op, but honestly im just glad they're looking at her and LB. My two babes.

I am sitting on the E bonus version right now...

General Esdeath 1 votes

I was fine with the other version just less dashes please, her ult is toxic enough, I want her to just use it to position her Q and E better.

I really like this third one. I'm very happy to see they put good thought into her and have been trying new things and hearing our opinions. (:

i have to admit, as an ahri main, i welcome the changes. Ahri has been kinda in a meh spot for a long time (even more so thanks to the new conquerer meta)... something that wasnt mentioned was that her new passive on her Q is going to work similar to vlad q where first 2 are kinda meh and the 3rd heals. her passive is also going to refund mana (i think 15% lvl 1) on champion hits with abilities. this reinforces landing charm on enemies and not wasting abilities for no reason. the new manaflow band also nerfs one of ahri's tougher matchups early (xerath) so he cant spam endlessly lacing his passive in with manaflow because fuck that.
