I get shes spose to be "nimble" and quick. But how is it fair that she can just clear waves an spam all her stuff as most of her "counters" drain themselves of mana. Allowing her to just continue to spam without losing anything from it.
O and factor in that unlike everyone else, you can auto to speed up your damage making her play more like a dam high ad assassin with a shield.
Ok... tell me how do you think Riven will function if she had mana costs? Her costs would be so low that it wouldn't even matter or high enough that she wouldn't be able to function unless you completely overhaul her kit. The same can be said about every single champion that doesn't use mana. People saying "just give them mana costs" shows how little they know about how those champions work
I say no to a Mana bar, but an Energy bar would be great.
They should just give everyone mana and forget about energy or manaless champs if it makes the game easier to balance. Both no-mana and energy seem vestigial at this point anyway.

How would it be fair then that Riven has 0 ranged attack to poke with, huh? I guess you think that would be fair when you play the right click hero from a distance and kill her without any chance to get damaged because she has to you use all of her mana for her shield and dashes just to avoid your right clicking skills and ranged aoe cc. Yes, that would be fair, balanced and skill-based totally. Also the easiest champion to kill is a Riven who just spams her abilities because if she does that she leaves herself wide open for damage while she is the squishiest toplaner in the game. Her Q has 13s cd which does not scale. Moreover, it is always funny to read when someone is complaining about manaless champions while most of the mages has low mana cost, thousands of mana and ridiculously high mana regeneration at once. Riven has to worry more about her non-scaling Q's cd than mages have to about their mana.
I can give Energy users a pas since most of them need to do special tasks to recover their resources, but the champions like Riven and Yasuo that just plain don't HAVE resources except their cooldowns need to be taken down a peg. It's wholly unfair that they get to enjoy limitless uptime while their opponents have to be wary of the attrition game.
