Am I the only one who hates playing on the red side?

I'm one of those "noobs" who play with a locked screen, and I think I can pull it off well if there isn't this huge HUD in the way. I love to play skillshot champions, but I can't do much with them with the blocked view. I'm sure there's some reason why this isn't dealt with that I don't know about, but I would just like it if it was made so that the HUD can be toggled on or off or whether it can be made smaller to your liking (kind of like in spectate mode but not really).

And if you say "play with unlocked screen, noob" I don't know what to tell you besides the fact that you should respect other people's playstyles. I know that if I didnt put this I would get loads of comments like it.

Thank you for considering, have a nice day.

They need to impliment a camera flip. Not sure why thats so fucking technically complicated.

They don't do that because the other side of what we view is often nothing, there is nothing there to be rendered. If in a replay program you moved the camera you'd notice everything looks completely fucked up or or isn't there at all, SR's map was made to be viewed at only one angle. By cutting out anything else that could be rendered on screen they make the game so low in resource cost that it can run on any piece of shit. The new Summoner's Rift is probably more of the same since it isn't any more resource-intensive than the previous.

I returned my GTX 970 so I have no discrete graphics card at all right now... and I'm running the game locked at 120fps at 2560x1440 using my 4770K's built-in GPU (a worthless Intel HD 4600 which can't run shit) OC'd to 1.65GHz, everything maxed except shadows which are off and AA off.

But yeah, obviously I agree the map should be completed so we can flip the view, that'd solve some viewing issues but the fact that the sides are imbalanced doesn't change with just that. I was blown away that they didn't address 99% of the imbalance issues when they remade SR, they only fixed a few minor things such as SOME of the uneven brush distances.

Can't you change the HUD size in the settings?

If you are serious in the game honestly I would find it better to be on red team. First off full clear starting gromp with the full leash from bot lane feels easier. The ganks are better for the bot lane, which is where they are arguably most important. The dragon has a wall to the other team, even if it is closer to them. You also have better access to warding baron with ease. This is just my opinion. As for the problems you mentioned, there is this thing called settings where you can change the HUD size.

No, you're not the only one. I find skillshots much easier on blue side and often refrain from picking champs with a lot of skillshots on red side. Although, I have gotten better at it.

I play with the screen constantly switched between locked an unlocked so that's not an issue for me... yet I find the red/purple side to be absolutely intolerable and stats show that even the "new" slightly improved map has the two sides still unbalanced. For an eternity it was 55% win rates for blue and 45% win rates for red until Diamond where it became 56%/44%.
