New graphics card FPS help

Hi so i used to have a gtx 750ti in my system and recently just installed an evga gtx 1080 ftw and for some reason my fps is capped at around 74 when before i was getting well over 100 all the time. V synch is off, i did the clean driver uninstall with ddu and all my settings are the same from what i can see. Anyone have any ideas? The fps had gone back right after the drivers were installed but this morning i turned my computer back on and checked and the issue had returned.

The visual difference is near non existent, your eyes can only see at around a MAXIMUM of 90 fps, but usually only 70 FPS.

i understand this but its more of an issue with being concerned about my new graphics card when everything i read says i should be getting 200 fps plus with this card

League isn't the best game to stress test, give a game like Team Fortress 2 a try.
