Vlad can grab lantern as a pool of blood

Just played a match against a Vladimir and something rather nonsensical happened. The enemy Vlad went into his pool and then grabbed Thresh's lantern and was pulled to safety. Is this intended to be possible or is a strange bug? Cause it seems odd to me that a pool of blood can grab anything....he doesn't even have hands or a body at that point.

This is possible just like activating items and using summoner spells. This agrees with every other such interaction so i am not too suprised. Riot might however make a special rule but i doubt it.

Vlad's pool only makes him un-targetable and he cannot cast any other ability while in his pool. There-fore he is not able to be snared, stunned, silenced, ect. So really ya have to look at it from Thresh's abilities not Vlad's. Thresh's lantern ability allows for any close enough ally to gain a shield and grab the lantern as long as they are not snared or stunned and since Vlad cannot be stunned or snared in his pool he can grab the lantern. It's not so much about if he has a hand to grab it but the games mechanics of each skill, in this case Vlad's pool and Thresh's lantern. As long as i've played Vlad with a Thresh it's always been possible and has never been labeled as a bug and probably never will be because the games mechanics are in line with how each skill is supposed to work.

It is probably intentional. Vlad can cast Summoner's and use items like zhonya's while pooled, the only thing he can't do is auto attack and cast his other spells.

Report that in bugs, maybe you'll get a bigger response. I for one didn't think that was possible either.

I don't own Vlad so I've only played him a few times. I was just curious if this is something he is supposed to be able to do. Thanks for the input and clarifications Vlad players. I didn't put it in "bugs" simply because I was unclear if this is intentional or not.
