Proof the warnings are given before actually checked

Many people are concerned with warnings and flame others for getting them. I am here to say that if you get a warning, you know that it is not always warranted. The system gives the warning due to the fact that you were reported in case you were toxic during your game. But as you can see in the example provided i got the warning and did not participate in the game (I know, i know I'm terrible person going to hell I got it). This is just a reassurance for people, the warning does not mean punishment!

Your message seems a bit mixed though...

  1. You're right that the warning doesn't necessarily mean the report will be validate. It's only a heads up that you are getting a lot of reports in too few games.

  2. Sometimes people don't report you for only the most appropriate option. They probably selected 3 options and the system warned you with the one that you've had the most of or something. I don't know how it handles multiple report types for this.

  3. Testing the system is not a good reason to afk or be toxic! There is proof of how the system works elsewhere, and Riot can be quoted from many sources about this.

  4. Why does the system warn me before validating the report? It takes up to 15 minutes to punish someone and you can be in another match already, but the warning happens immediately. The system isn't there just to validate individual reports, but to build a case against you by tracking a pattern of behavior. Subtle, disguised, or gameplay toxicity might go unnoticed, but with a pattern identified Riot can check in on it.

For those who cannot see, I afked and did not participate in the entirety of the match
