This game is dieing, bleeding subscribers, and has been for a long long time. Riot has done a good job of keeping it going far longer than it should have but the old playerbase is gone, the reason is still up and running is from a few die hards and new players. So Riot making mass changes affects little

Arguably it has lost alot of players from western servers, the constant complaints about match making supports this but it undoubtedly has gained a massive amounts of players in the east. Far more than what was lost.
