Plat -> Silver "issues"

I've been making that same mistake two seasons now thinking that I'm above anyone else. And I deserve better. No. Infact I was just not focusing on the game and kept commenting people on their mistakes. And that's how people get stuck in Plat so easily. They lose their touch and then start scratching their heads demanding a fix to the matchmaking system. It's all actually your fault. My fault. If people keep grinding games with that attitude it never ends well. You either get stuck and ruin your MMR completely. I haven't finished my promotional matches yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up in Silver. It would actually make me happy instead.

My advice to anyone reaching Plat this season. Don't stay there for too long and always keep your head cool. Think that you can do better every game and improve yourself despite the weird circumstances which may occur. Just focus on your gameplay. That's how challenjours are born. Think like Plat isn't an achievement. It's like an obstacle I need to break through.

You have to burn through Plat like a burrito with extra guacamole does to your body ;)

I hit Plat just before the end of last season and was content since I only had a few weeks to get out of it. This season, I'm going to Diamond. I hope :D

@Dirty Roleplayer believe me you don't want to end up in silver :3 Aim for gold4 to Gold1 instead. Gold 5 4 and 3 have the same level in terms of skills as Silver, however in terms of attitude.... I haven't been in plat, however I believe Silver is worse, because from what I understand those in plat who make mistakes make small mistakes, they don't notice them and end up blaming the rest of the team right? In silver people do obvious mistakes, the team mates warn them a minute in advance, and when the huge mistake is done, the one in the wrong will some time blame the others or bad game balance, but most of times at least a teammate or two will start flaming, get angry and make the game worse. because of the flame the mistaken one won't understand a thing and start making other problems and won't be able to learn. In Gold however, you will find some sportsmanlike players, but most will at least stay silent and not flame The skill is kinda similar, but the atmosphere is definetely something else
