Hexakill in treeline shows us how unbalanced this game is since season 4 started
any team with a katarina/yasuo/yi or lucian has 80% chances + of winning

Or maybe it just shows that some champions excel in a tight corridor with 6 targets?
Yasuo and Lucian, not so much. The lack of minions to proc Yasuo's Q and to spam E on really hinders his potential. The only reason I would argue that he might be good in Hexakill is because ADCs have achieved a godly status in season 4, and Yasuo's Wind wall can negate their damage.
Lucian as well does not have that much of an advantage in Hexakill. Generally, his strength comes from being an Marksman, a class that are currently very powerful. Additionally, this problem is compounded by that items are easier to build on Hexakill, allowing the ADCs to hit their late game even sooner.
On the other hand, I agree that Yi and Katarina are blatantly OP in this mode. I would also like to list Fiora and Lux as two other contenders. It is mostly their high alpha damage AOE spells that causes this imbalance.
On an individual scale, Yi's ability to rapidly heal is extremely versatile in a team death match type of game. Plus, his innate MS and damage buffs allows him to engage and disengage at will.
Kat's CD resets absolutely wrecks enemy champions, especially since she can get Deathcap and Zhoyna's with one item in TT. When she can build AP that fast, countering using MR items becomes obsolete. The only way to shut her down is by killing her before she you.
Fiora's invulnerability ult plus the plethora of life steal items allows her to heal back to full from 1% health just by using her ult in a group. Furthermore, 2 gap closers, one insane AS steroid which refreshes on kill, and 1 free block makes her a menace to fight against.
In Lux's case, she is dominant because of the lay out of the map. With proper positioning, she can nuke 1/3 of the map with her 30 second ult. That is overpowered from every perspective. However, it is worthwhile to note that she can at best, nuke 1/8 of the map on Summoner's rift, which is much bigger than TT.
It seems in a mode with frequent team fights, it just emphasized the power of these champions: namely Yi, Fiora, and Katarina. These offenders are pretty much problematic in every other instance of deathmatch modes. Perhaps it is Riot's intention to create these kits that can obliterate a whole team with one button to compensate for lesser skilled players.
However, we are talking about the people who made old Kassadin, LeBlanc, and Fizz. Maybe they just did it for the laughs.
Old Leblanc and Fizz are masterpiece IMO. All their kits mixed tightly together while leaving plenty to space for counterplay. Or do you prefer Lulu, Kat, Liss, Gnar, Yasou whose combo is nonexistant and abilities have zero interaction?
That sarcasm, I like it.
For the sake of argument, LeBlanc has no more "combo" than Yasuo. Both their ults are reliant on their previous abilities. Old LeBlanc's silence plus her blinks just made her obnoxious to lane against. Similar to how it is frustrating for your opponent when they land all their skill shots on your Wind Wall as Yasuo (except they can just walk pass or around the wall).
As well, IMO Zed is the best designed champion in game. Fizz's kit is overloaded with unnecessary utility, there is no excuse to lose as Fizz and blame it on the champion. His Playful/Trickster is possibly one of the most versatile ability in game which offers high damage, slow, mobility, and untargetability. Additionally, his Q scales as much as an ultimate with Lichbane, and W empowers AAs, deals %missing health DoT damage, and applies grievous wounds.
To top it off, Fizz's ult offers 2 CCs, is an AOE nuke, and has one of the better ratios for an ult while having a moderate cool down. If everyone had as much potential as Fizz, it would be fine; however, most champions in LoL don't even come close to such wealth of power.
Old LeBlanc and Fizz are masterpieces, their skills can be chained nicely together and make some flashy plays. But they are also some of the most imbalanced champions to ever make pass the designing board.
Balance can achieve by tweaking numbers. A well-crafted kit is a well-crafted kit and credit is given to the designer.
Leblanc has her E delayed, offer a chance to dash away to avoid the root. Her triggered Q however, can silence, and prevent that chance. The opponent is again offered a chance to break the combo by CC her during W, thus negate the entire chain, no W no Q no E. It's a well-crafted kit with plenty of counterplay.
Fizz can dodge CC, but he has no CC himself. His ult and E offsets that limit, but has 3s delay, offered a chance to dash away. His kit has strong all-in but zero poke, his Q is the only initiator which has short range allowing space for kiting. As I said, plenty of space for counterplays which is why he would never get nerfed, but I suppose every clever design is bad in your world. And I wouldn't say 120s is moderate CD, it's like 10s shorter than Veigar's? Veigar R has 2.0 AP ratio and no chance of evading.
Yasou has no counterplay, it's a tank and spark kit. There is nothing you can do to stop a fed Yasou, or underfed Yasou to outplay someone. Not the case with Leblanc, Fizz, Kat or Akali.
Zed is not a good design. Good poke, good melee, good escape, but trivialized number, no weakness but no strength either.
And Annie Q with deathcap is 0.7*1.3=0.91 ratio is also as strong as an ult. Does that count? Oh, I forgot, her ult is buffed also, unlike lichbane.
well i was in a game against a yi and a katarina while i was extremely sick with a major headache and i was able to take out yi and kat as zed so stop being toxic about losing to certain champs and give rito all your money
are we seriously complaining about a random game mode lol
The key thing is to have someone on your team who has the ability to interrupt kat's ult(blitz for example) Without her ult, she's pretty much useless.
