So i know that this new system will be coming out. Looks totally awesome and i cant wait. But i heard we will get some form of compensation for our runes, im just wondering if anyone knew what that meant? are we getting some/all the ip refunded?

DarkRitual1 votesI spent a lot of IP on them too, but hope it's not IP myself. I've got like 30,000 IP sitting doing nothing, and 10,000 more would basically be worthless to me. A LOT of other players are in the same boat as me, and that will likely factor into things. There might be a partial IP return, with something else. I could live with that if the "something else" was worthwhile.
night42mare1 votesWell if you dont have some champs you can use it on them just to have them and try them as you please. But i would be okay with partial ip. im still buying lots of champs so ip is gold to me lol.
DarkRitual1 votesThat's part of the problem. I've got all the champs, and even max rune pages (or like 19 out of 20 maybe). Full IP refunds would be GREAT for many people, but effectively worthless to so many others. This is part of the issue where a full IP refund is unlikely. I could see them offering options, like hextech crafting assets that can be crafted into chunks of IP, or skins, or something along those lines. This would be a great option, as it is able to please more people. Even for those who don't have all the champs, they sometimes don't WANT many more, so would have options as well.
