The BP update is nice and all but... getting BP ONLY with FWOTD and Hex Crafting i think is not enough... IMO riot should return some of the IP features like getting less IP for loss and more IP for winning or FWOTD and keep the "Getting more BP from Hex Crafting" feature. Grinding for new champs is harder now 
You get like a billion free champions from just completing quests and leveling up now.
I owned all the champions before the BE update and bought the last one about a month before it went live. Since then, I've gone from level 30 to almost to 130 now playing on average 2-3 games a day (actually 5-10 in a day with a few days off in between, but who's counting). Each level I've gotten a champion capsule with at least 2 shards in it (or the rare 1 shard for a newer 6500 champ). 3 shards rerolled is a new champ for FREE just for playing like 10-20 games (depending on your win/loss ratio). Minimum 810 BE value to a capsule, even that gives you a new champ of your choice every 3-5 levels depending on the champion's cost.
TL;DR What in the f*** are you smoking? It's bad. Throw it out.
