Oh I see, LisSANDra ey? I think our effects artists are all out of pocket-sand for the time being ;)

Beyond the cool idea I want to mention something about the recent saturation of sandy skins: Guardian of the Sands we have 4: Khazix Rammus Skarner Xerath, and we could conceivably round out a team with an ADC (although that wasn't the objective this time). In terms of producing 5 'Shurima' skins in the wake of the event Fiddlesticks makes a fifth although he is thematically their nemesis. Ekko was stand-alone and was the best theme for his launch skin in a vacuum (launch skins are tricky). So given that the total releases were 6 skins, 1 more than say Pool Party, I am a little surprised people feel like it's too much (particularly in the wake of an event in which the city of Shurima was re-instated).

Personally I feel like perhaps we could have positioned them better so that the skins delivered would meet expectations instead of surprise players with the ensuing sandstorm. It's also true that we explore design/thematic space in waves - like the Arclight skins; we take an older skin and flesh out the design language and backstory then apply it to a few more champions. I'd really like to continue to do this until we have either 5 skins for a team or a similar number across another constant (all Junglers like Headhunter until Caitlyn, all Monstrous champs like Battlecast). The first couple of skins in a 'line' always take the longest but then we do tend to get excited about rolling forward with it, finding other champions that could fit the theme. Interestingly for the Guardian of the Sands line Skarner and Rammus were designed first (while Azir was unreleased and the Shurima event was being produced) and I used their shape language along with the Nasus rework to design Kha'zix even though he was finished and launched much earlier.

This skin has to be a thing. No negotiations needed. Not saying now, but surely in the future.

That being said, if the Shurima skins were released a little closer to Shurima's Resurrection, it would have made more sense. But you guys allowed a significant gap I would say (it was around September I believe, and you released a bulk of the sand skins around April-May). To me ,personally, (although I love 99.99% of what you guys produce,) the Shurima-themed skins seemed disconnected. I still love the skins, but this is my take on their release as a whole. Its not so much the quantity, I believe, as the quantity released in this disconnection.

After the disaster with Narrative I personally never want to see Shurima for the rest of the year :/ Bad taste is the thing - many of us feel Shurima got all these skins, but...did Freljord? They got a war unresolved. No skins really say "Freljord" but "Christmas" and "Mis terrible Freeze mofo."

Anyways, off that...

Think we could see Pool party return? You know people are dying for Pool Party Ahri, Pool Party Sona...Pool Party Kayle...and OFC the fantastic Pool Party Zac!

I dunno why everyone expected the war of the freljord to be resolved that easily.It is a war that spanned over generations and when Lissandra was introduced it was made clear that lissandra was not actively taking part in the war(instead scheming from behind),so why did everyone assume that the war was soon going to be over,when it was more like the basic premise for the freljord.

And yes,Freljord got several skins too. We've got Blackfrost anivia,ice drake shyvana and Runeguard volibear just for the event and its not like snowday skins are the only ice-related skins(there are others like freljord rammus,glacier malphite,frostblade irelia,etc.its just that these skins came with a lot more time in between them)

What we mean is - it just is there. We have no resolutions, no continuation. They seem to have no real want to continue it, thus us all annoyed they didn't just resolve it.

Also, I'd honestly not count SNOWDOWN skins. The glacier and Frostblade yeah, I admit those. But SNOWDOWN skins don't count.

I understand the problem with that,but currently no storyline really goes anywhere,so its not really that different.

Also I didn't count the snowdown skins,thats why I said that snowday skins aren't the only ice skins(although snowdown skins are still snow related skins,so its not like they are all that different just because they are holiday related) I mean aside from those that I've mentioned already,there are also Frost queen Janna,Frostfire annie,cryocore Brand,frosted Ezreal,frozen terror Nocturne,glacial Olaf and frozen shen. You could also count skins like tundra hunter warwick and the arctic ops line(or similar skins) to that,but thats more about personal opinion.

So there are easily over 10 ice themed skins in the game,even if you don't count the numerous snowdown skins,while we've got only 7-9 sand skins(depending on if you count sand scourge skarner and shurima zilean)

YES YES YES ALL MY YES!!!! A Golden Skin for Lissandra would be perfect. She already has Blue Red and Green, i feel a gold/yellow skin would tie her basic colour scheme together nicely. It would be amazing to see her ult with a large Sarcophagus too. I was literally just telling my boyfriend how amazing i think a Shuriman Lissandra skin would be amazing, and i don't even play her or own her, but I do admire the character.

On a side note there have been WAAAAAAAAAAY too many Shuriman based skins lately. Given that Shurima is oficially a relevant City-State again... I can't help but feel all the guardians skins could have been timed with the Actual Shuriman event rather than just Kha'zix. I understand time constraints were an issue, but still it just feels like a never ending onslaught of Shurima Shurima Shurima, it feels like the new Freljord. lol.

Here's another concept i though was cool, Cyber Lissandra.

no sry i have to disagree i dont think it would fit her concept and we have program lissandra and just NO. She is magical dont replace it with sci-fi or blades make new magic like elderwood lissandra, dark star, deep sea ( uses krakens for skillshots ), void, spider lissandra etc and risen lissandra is a must
