Just wondering how the rank system works. I was in B5 but wokred up and won my promos, each win I would get about 20-22LP, into b4. Now every win, the first couple and the last three in a row I have only been getting 12LP, each win. Don't understand.

Live2LetDie1 votesIt all depends on where you mmr is at. I was placed G3 but got 30lp per game. Won my promos and skipped g2 straight to g1 becuase I am playing purely against p3+ mmr. It's all about wining
KurokawaMasahiro1 votesWhen you go onto LolNexus you can see a team MMR for your team and the team you're placed against. The way it should work is that if their team MMR is higher than yours and you win, you'll earn more LP since you were the 'underdog'. If your team MMR was higher, you'll earn less, because you "should've" won. At least that's my understanding of it.
