I'm never gonna try in ranked ever again.

I keep playing lane well, but someone feeds so hard and my kda just gets destroyed after I destroy my laner. This game gets so hard to enjoy. No matter how many times someone says "youre gonna be lucky and get good teammates". Its been over 4 months and no changes about getting lucky and better teammates. This ruins my mmr for the next season and I just lose the excitement for the new season. It just sucks and so many people deal with this.

EDIT: my win rate is 50% cuz i dont try anymore. i dont enjoy playing this game seriously and its more fun to purposely play poorly when theres a toxic player on my team.

also, i dont like norms cuz no one tries. i like ranked cuz people dont troll pick champs as much as norms.

better for your mental health to quit ranked. I haven't played since july, and it feels so much better.

If you need coaching hit me up. I've helped a lot of friends and it can be surprising to watch their replays. Usually I see:

-Not exploiting/punishing the enemy mistakes hard enough or at all. (This is almost always the biggest problem. Not punishing weaker opponents simply put WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CLIMB PERIOD.) -Going for KDA over Macro/playing the map. -Constant pointless wandering. -Getting a lane lead and then falling apart after the laning phase ends. -Building the same items every game in all situations winning or losing. (Usually damage, damage, and more damage.) -Try maining just 2-3 champions. You gotta master a few before you branch out.

You have to clean up as many of these as possible. The more of these you don't clean up the more you leave your fate in the hands of your teammates, and let me tell you that will not work out for you if you're looking to climb. If you could honestly check all these off a list you'd make it to Diamond since most players cannot honestly say they perform all of these well. [slayer-jinx-catface]

same thing happens to me. I win my lane but then we lose because one person feeds. that's why I don't care about ranks anymore.

Look up more tutorial videos. Understand what it actually means to win lane and how to turn winning lane into objectives for your team. It means absolutely nothing if you stomp a Nasus but let the game drag on so he farms and one-shots your nexus. You need to be able to turn your advantage into the team's advantage.

I feel like playing any game competitively never leads to anywhere unless you're looking to go pro

Fine if you dont care about your ranked games anymore, but dont become part of the problem. Doesnt prove anything just makes it worse.

The problem is that when others feed, they don't change their approach and keep feeding. When I die once or twice, I immediately stop trading, farm safe and try to roam and help other lanes.

Having bad teammates is way more worst than being bad, because even then you still can play smart.

This shit is supposed to be fun....remember that

Just play normals, that's what I do. Atleast it's a bit less toxic.

The best advice I can give you is to find someone on your skill level or better and duo with them in ranked. And try to play carry roles with them so you can both try to carry games. If you don't duo then play a normal game, and save the ranked games for when you're both ready to duo.

If only Riot would fix their trash matchmaking system....

Subdue9/26/2018, 7:44:23 PM1 votes

The first step in climbing in ranked is to stop looking for someone to blame when you lose.

You have 7 solo queue games in your match history, and in one of those 7 you had 10 deaths, 5 of which happened before the 10 minute mark. This was double the deaths of anyone else in your team, except for one, who had 6 deaths.

I'm inclined to believe this was just a bad game, but if everyone has bad games with the same frequency that you do, we should expect at least one every game.

Focus on your own play, fix your own mistakes, and look for opportunities to become the deciding factor in a game, rather than waiting for someone else to do it.

Its almost like winning lane/jungle means literally nothing in the game and you have to use the advantage you get to end the game not just get fed and wait for ff

YOUR MATCHING SYSTEM SUX! ARE YOU ALL ON DRUGS, OR YOU HAVE PAY TO WIN PROFILES? PROMOTING 5 DIVISIONS IN A ROLL AND THEN 10+ LOSSES IN A ROLL BECAUSE OF FEEDERS AND NOOBS?!?!?!

Andevar9/27/2018, 12:45:52 AM1 votes

It's never good to blame your teammates for your losses, even if they did hard feed. Rather, you should look at what you did wrong and how you could've performed better.

Everyone here has gotten shitty teammates before, but we've climbed, not because of getting good teams over bad teams, but because we learn from our mistakes and improve.

If your team feeds, carry them harder.

That's how I feel about most of the game. I want to enjoy it, and long ago I did, but it's feels so awful to play right now. League is a game that makes people angry. All of my friends that have ever played ended up rage quitting. I love League's aesthetics, and gameplay, but matchmaking and game balance is very very bad.

Wilyum9/26/2018, 4:35:10 PM1 votes

Keep trying my dude. I only play ranked games because too many people straight up troll in normals, at least the majority of the people playing ranked are trying. You are just as likely to get a bad player as the enemy team is.
Also, people that say you should be able to climb, it shouldn't take hundreds of games, are ignorant. Michael Jordan would smash through a J.V. basketball team every time. But a varsity player will have a much harder time carrying the other J.V. people to a win. People who are challenger, masters, and diamond will obviously have an easy time ranking up to a certain point, but a person who has the potential to be gold will have a harder time getting out of silver.
Hope my analogy made sense.

Play ranked for fun. Just like me. Rank doesn't matter anyways. Not with those stupid changes from our honorable balance team.
