This has been live since patch 6.9

Why?

At first I've heard from a streamer that Ziggs ADC just destroys towers, and I thought it was his passive.

But then I saw him use his W to instantly drop the tower, LUL WTF.

Maybe I'm wrong, but this seems like the laziest attempt at shoving a champ into the meta? " hmmm... maybe we should just give his W the ability to instantly destroy towers. "

I'm not complaining, since I haven't experienced it in game myself. But I'm just wondering, why?

Are you implying that a skill being able to instantly take down a tower is something that isn't annoying or unfair enough to ' complain ' about?

It's the only skill of its kind in the game.

I haven't played against it myself yet. But I can see how it would feel overwhelming to play against.

It's not instant, and he loses his one escape by doing that. It is stupid at times, yes, but it's also a way to differentiate him from other poke mages like xerath( who is different from others because of his extremely weak close range combat and skillshot oriented kit) and lux( who brings utility to the role) Ziggs is the one who pushes you in and demolishes your towers.No other AP champion does it as well as him.

the position on bot lane is not called "adc" and marksmen are not entitled to it.

adc = attack damage carry. meaning a type of champion who stacks loads of ad, critical strike, and attack speed and deals sustained damage with auto attacks, like most marksmen.

playing ziggs on bot lane does not make him an adc, and there is no reason he shouldnt be allowed to duo lane.

I'm a fan of 'Farmer' and 'Support' for the two bottom lane positions.

Maybe some day the Farmer lane position will open up a bit more. Boy, I sure hope so.

An attack damage carry is someone who predominantly deals physical damage who scales well with kills and ramps into a powerhouse as the game goes on - in essence, they become the backbone of the team, carrying the game with their damage output. The title has nothing to do with building crit, AS, or using autos primarily. Corki and Ezreal are prime examples of ADCs who predominantly deal physical damage, but are more oriented towards dealing the most damage with their abilities than with their auto attacks.

Ziggs is not an ADC, but an APC. Since he builds AP, he deals magic damage. He scales well with kills, and becomes an absolute terror if he ramps up and gets fed. Midlaners tend to be APCs, and the fact that one is going bottom is kinda fresh for the game, especially since several ADCs have slithered their way into mid (Corki, Varus, Ezreal).

fine, my point still stands.

the position on bot is not called "adc" and adc dont own that spot. or at least they shouldnt. even worse, for the last 6 years it was almost entirely occupied by a small group of adc (marksmen).

i hope, riot wont interfere with nerfs this time like they did with urgot on bot lane, and double bruiser lanes like they did in the past.

I'm not complaining about him being in the bot lane.

I'm asking about his W and the recent appearance of him in bot has brought attention to this scenario.
