He was totally benched, OMG he is simply unplayable, even after 5.9 patch when he got some extremely minor "buffs" he is still trash tier, i actually lost being fresh d5 with 80% win ratio when i was grinding there and lost in mid at bronze 4 with friends acc, with every other champ u can finish game in less than 20minutes, but veigar is TRASH, he cant fight back in lane he cant do anything, farming Q is unrewarding unless you do it for 30minutes ignoring everything else happening in game. You actually need to farm 350~ ap to only get back what they took from your ULT ratio.
A champion which cant do ANYTHING early game, he cant fight back, he can use only ONE skill, trough-out the game he can use TWO, unless you get 1.5k ap you are running trash, except good in clustered fights, but there he is still medicore, cant win any duel in any state of game, untill u start to actually one shot people, even sona/leona full support would win vs 0-15lvl veigar 1v1 scenario. I have no words everyone went silent and moved on, but i couldnt, i cant they ruined him completely and they HAD THE NERVE TO CALL IT COMPENSATION BUFFS. AND told "he now farms so much ap that we had to lower his ratios, his damage output vs AFK players are too high" But if you arent brain dead you will never get hit by two of his skills. He is still squishy as ever with no defense mechanisms now without cage you are free frag always and whenever you misplay just slightly.
Simply unplayable a champion which cant fight back all early game and is just medicore in late/mid game
Whats the point to even pick him? The answer is - NONE.

The only champion i consider so UP that you cant even win with it in bronze if players are aggressive enough. Trust me out of curiosity i tried most underplayed champs, urgot, poppy etc all of them were decent, but veigar is simply a guy which "loses laning phase and every duel there is for 30minutes so he can afk farm and make a game 4v5, only to be at late a lesser leblanc in terms of burst, but squishy, immobile and easy to get killed"
A champion which is only good if you expect to get carried but if thats your strategy you are better off with lissandra and ori, afk farming which are a lot better in every stage of game and in every given situation and composition.
I saw a lot of big riot fails and fu.ck-ups but this one was hands down the biggest. Second goes for evelynn when she was nerfed to shit tier, but there at least was reasons because they didnt know how to balance her and she was abused, but veigar, veigar... I have no comments and they had a nerve to call it "compensation buff for dfg loss" Dont forget that one in patch notes "he have too much dmg now so we nerf his ult ratio...." good one, hilarious, i Guess veigar could work in EUW where servers are burning frequalently then maybe enemies wont run away from his "too much dmg from - u will never land your W. never. Mechanics"
I mean if you made his stun so hard to hit in laning phase and 1v1, defensive situation why you dont make it worth? Even if you go out of your mind and play exceptionally well to get SOMEONE stunned you still cant do A thing to them. All league champs are easier to play and give a lot more reward than veigar does now. I mean it was HUGE nerf, he wasnt nerfed he was BENCHED but the most annoying part of it all is riot approach to it they try to dumb everyone and call it "COMPENSATION BUFFS." And laugh from their loyal players which loved veigar,
P.s fun fact of the day: To this day all known high elo veigar mains either dropped him or left league of legends. maybe thats an indicator to see that you failed big time?. Good job Rito good job.
