I somewhat agree with this. The removal of his old w basically murders the reason i used to play Galio. Now, I grant you that I simply chose him as a Brand counter... But this Galio doesnt seem very closely related to the old one.
What they did was actually make him follow what his bio made him out to be.
He was supposed to be a guardian that defended Demacia's villages and towns from Noxus, and upon losing his creator he vowed to fight for Demacia.
That is in no way reflected in his playstyle.
All he is is a mage that casts some spells and occasionally flashes in to ult and taunt people. With his new playstyle you actually DEFEND people. You're actually doing what he was intended to do. I don't see how that's destroying the character, they actually made him what he was intended to be in his bio.

I'm so sick of all these "mains" that pop up everytime a champ gets reworked that act like it's the end of the world that the champ they've never actually played is "destroyed"
